Dark Skies Ahead

I was selected by Travel Oregon, the state's tourism organization, to capture the dark sky areas around the state. Nestled in the heart of the Pacific Northwest, some regions of Oregon offer pristine dark skies that serve as a perfect canvas for capturing the magnificence of the cosmos. Taking in Oregon's night skies in these areas is an awe-inspiring experience that reminds you of the vastness and mystery that lies beyond our earthly realm. Aside from Dark Sky photography, I've also worked with Travel Oregon on other projects from the rugged coastline to the majestic mountains. Oregon's diverse landscapes provide a myriad of breathtaking backdrops for outdoor enthusiasts. My photo of Heyward Field made the cover of Travel Oregon's 2021 Visitor Guide in preparation for World Track and Field Championships in Eugene.
